Why have two non-interop messaging systems?
I tried to show how easy XML-RPC could be SOAP.
I think having one interop messaging is a good thing.
Of course, XML-RPC can't do all that SOAP can: no headers, no multi-hop, no XML-as-XML, no attachments, etc. But the bases are so similar that it's time to drop XML-RPC. Enough middleware wars.
