It seems like you're moving XML-RPC into SOAP in a manner that's going to break a lot of existing XML-RPC processors, so I'm not sure I see any real gain here.
It is certainly interesting that SOAP proponents seem to keep suggesting gluing their envelopes to other people's message formats on a regular basis, but it's hard to see that as an encouraging trend.
