That's totally unfair Rich. I *fully* support SOAP, and wouldn't have put as much effort into SOAP 1.2 as I did, had I felt otherwise. I do believe Web services, as currently understood, are based on a misunderstanding (that the Web is only for humans), but SOAP itself has a very valuable use outside of that (don't put a method name in the SOAP body). Thanks for describing me as "influential" though. 8-)

  You are opposed to the whole WS thing, and you don't like they WS uses SOAP. I didn't think I was unfair in my summation of your position, but I do apologize if you feel mis-represented. Hopefully readers will follow the link and start to read for themselves.
